Collect Data About My Reading
To collect data about your reading on ReMo, follow these steps.
1. Login to go.remo.app.
2. Go to the “Read” tab.
3. There are three ways that you can gather data about reading a book in ReMo:
- Read & Finish: Click on the cover of the book and select the “Read this book now” button. When you are done with the book, click on the cover and select the “I’m done with this book” button.
- Update Your Progress: Click on Update your progress to keep track of what page you left off of, how things are going with your book, and if you are almost done with the book or not.
- Track Your Reading: This provides you with the most data. You can record your reading rate based on the number of minutes or the start and end times, starting and ending pages, when & how you read your book, and how engaged you were while reading the book.
You can pick and choose (or get assigned by your teacher) any of these three ways during your reading of a book to get information about you as a reader.
Here are a couple of videos of this process:
Update your progress:
Track your reading:
- If you are …
- reading a book in one sitting
- reading while traveling or outside of school (especially without internet)
- reading a book that doesn’t have page numbers
- listening to an audiobook
- jumping around to different sections or reading the book out of order (especially choose-your-own adventure books),
- you don’t care about specific data about your reading
...it might be best to just Read & Finish the book.
- If you want to keep track of where you are in the book, choose “Update your progress” and put the last page you read each time.
- If you want to know how long it is going to take you to read the whole book or you want evidence about your reading, choose “Track your reading” to explore your stats.
Now it is time to reflect on your reading. Go to Write a Response.
Our ReMo Team cares what you think, feel, and experience. Please let your teacher know when you have questions or suggestions about ReMo.
